Wet Weather Field Closure Notice
Saturday 30th and Sunday 31st May (inclusive)
Dear Members,
Sutherland Shire Council has advised that all turf playing fields across the Shire have been closed for training and competition use this weekend due to ongoing wet weather and saturated ground conditions.
As a result, all Sutherland Shire Dog Training Club training classes scheduled for Sunday 31st May are cancelled.
Council has advised that approximately 60mm of rainfall has been recorded across the Shire in recent days. While improved weather is forecast, the grounds remain at full water-holding capacity and have not had the opportunity to drain and recover sufficiently for safe use. We understand this will be disappointing for members and appreciate your understanding.
We look forward to welcoming everyone back once the grounds reopen.
